General information
The input module allows participating organisations to register attendance figures. After the user has logged in, the ‘Input module’ menu option is displayed on the left-hand side of the screen.
Participating organisations can use the input module to register the monthly attendance figures for a certain year.
Entering data for one organisation (for example for one museum)
If a user is responsible for one museum, he or she will be sent an invitation per email that contains a direct link to the input module. In this input module, the attendance figures should be entered as whole numbers in the narrow input line in the table. The figures must not be entered in the large text box to the lower-left of the image. Comments relating to the figures per month can be entered in this text box. For example: Closed for half a month due to renovations.
Entering data for multiple organisations (for example multiple museums)
If a user is responsible for multiple museums, his or her user name can be linked to all these museums. This way the user receives only one invitation via email, which contains one link to the input module, rather than several emails. Clicking on the link opens the input module with an overview of the museums the user is responsible for. By clicking on the individual museums it is possible to switch between them and the respective attendance figures can be entered as whole numbers in the narrow input line in the table. The figures must not be entered in the large text box to the lower-left of the image. Comments relating to the figures per month can be entered in this text box. For example: Closed for half a month due to renovations.
See Linking several Partners to one user for more information.
Note!
1) If a Partner is unable to enter figures for a particular month (for example, due to temporary closure), a ‘0’ should not be entered. Instead, the field for the figures should be left empty and a comment entered into the text box. A user may only enter a ‘0’ if the museum was open during the respective month but did not receive a single visitor.
2) It is vital that the user clicks the ‘save’ button after entering figures and comments. Once the data is successfully saved, the following confirmation message will be displayed: ‘The changes have been successfully entered in the Tourism Barometer’.
