Content pages are pages that only contain text and images and do not influence the technical operation of the Tourist Barometer. Account Administrators can create personal content for their own account.

The ‘Content Editor’ is used to manage content pages. The Content Editor is opened from the ‘Welcome’ section of the Account Administration section by selecting ‘Content Editor’ from the module selection tool at the top-right of the page (‘Select module’).

In order to help distinguish the Tourist Barometer, a fixed structure is used consisting of three blocks in which content pages can be created.

Pages in this block are visible to all visitors (also visitors from the public domain who are not logged in).

The pages in blocks 2 and 3 can only be accessed by registered visitors to the Tourist Barometer who have logged in.

The pages in block 2 are displayed above the menu, above the fixed module pages on the left-hand side of the screen.

The pages in block 3 are displayed below the menu, below the fixed module pages on the left-hand side of the screen.

A new content page can be added by clicking on the ‘Add main menu item to block x’ option for the block in question.

An existing content page can be deleted by finding the page in the correct block (after opening the Content Editor on the left-hand side of the screen) and clicking on ‘[del]’ (delete) next to the content page that requires deletion. The Barometer displays a message confirming that the content page is to be deleted.

After a ‘main menu item’ or a ‘page’ has been added, the item or page can be edited by clicking on it.

The title of main menu items on the site can be edited for the NL, GB, FR and DK sites.

Text can be added for each page on the NL, GB, FR and DK sites.

Text can then be entered and edited in a similar manner to MS Word (font, bold, italics, underlining, etc.).

Changes can be stored by clicking on the ‘Save’ button at the bottom of the page. Changes can be rejected (i.e. the old version will be kept) by clicking on ‘main menu item’ or ‘page name’ again.
